What Did Ariana Grande's Letter to Frankie Say?

by Allison Piwowarski

The second I found out that one of Big Brother's two Heads of Household this week was Frankie Grande, I was eager to see who would write his HOH letter from home. Sure, I kind of cared about what Cody's family would have to say about his game so far, but I was really hoping that when Frankie opened up his HOH letter, it would be from Ariana Grande, his sister. And indeed it was.

Before reading the letters, Cody, Frankie, and the other houseguests ooh-ed and ahh-ed over pictures of the two HOHs. In case you were wondering, there were no recent pictures of Ariana and Frankie in his HOH room, just pictures of them as kids. Or as Frankie put it, "I love how mine are from when I was one year old." He even thought that his "little sister looks like a little man". No one seemed to think twice about the pictures of young Frankie and Ariana, not even Victoria, the houseguest most likely to know his true identity. Along with the photos, Frankie received some exciting gifts. (Well, maybe not that exciting for someone who lives in the real world, but if you've been in a locked down house for four weeks, they are very exciting.) Frankie got a hooded vest (that he thought was a Hogwarts robe...), an iPod shuffle (loaded with music), applesauce, Fig Newtons, almond milk, agave nectar, and Smartwater, which caused the houseguests to freak the eff out. It's the little things in the Big Brother house, it really is.

When Frankie got around to reading his letter, he started crying immediately upon realizing it was from his sister.

Even Ariana watched Frankie open her letter.

So are you wondering what the letter said? Don't worry, I went ahead and transcribed it for you:

Dear Frankie,

I love you and miss you so much. I am a nervous wreck, but I know you’re killing it. Whenever I am faced with an obstacle, I think of you, and it makes me laugh, and it gives me strength. I hope you are staying strong and happy and are sharing your light. Remember, we share to make room to receive. I love you so much.

I love you. Be strong.

Love,

Ari

At the end of the letter (you can watch the entire HOH room reveal here), the houseguests applauded, not knowing they had just shed a tear to an award winning artist's letter. And Frankie's true identity was hidden another day.
