Drake Is Opening an OVO Pop-Up Shop in Toronto & Here's What Might Be For Sale
As host of this year's ESPYs, Drake brought fresh, fun looks to the stage and now he's about to drastically improve views from the 6, as well. For those who can't wait to break down the doors of Drizzy's upcoming OVO Fest, you won't have to wait until it starts on August 3 to feel his presence in the city. Complex reports that Drake is opening a pop-up shop in his hometown on Friday. Fans can partake in all the OVO store has to offer through August 9, but so far there's been no formal announcement as to what merchandise will be available for sale.
Seeing as how Drake's no stranger to the pop-up shop scene, it's safe to say the Toronto store will have its fair share of sports apparel, t-shirts, and hoodies bearing Drake's song titles. Since this'll be his second time blessing Toronto with his pop-up shop presence, and since he just announced his new album title and released that awesome promo trailer for his upcoming tour with Lil' Wayne, I would expect Drake to offer something a little more special for this year's OVO store opening.
With that in mind, here are some unofficial OVO merchandise that might be found in Drake's shop.
Also, the shop's 1,000th customer will receive a free six-month supply of lint rollers and an autographed pair of the jeans Drake used his lint roller on that sparked this entire trend in the first place.
A COMPILATION DISC OF DRAKE'S ESPYs SONGS
And yes, that includes Drake's impression of Manny Pacquiao singing "Let it Go." Also featured will be a hidden track in which Drake responds to being dissed by tennis player Nick Kyrgios. For those who can't make the Toronto show, fear not — once the OVO tour ends, you'll be able to download the songs on iTunes.
ACTION FIGURES FROM DRAKE VS. LIL WAYNE TOUR TRAILER
Because this would be way better than a Drake bobblehead.
Trust me on this guys. Drake would totally approve.
