Cara Delevingne Just Made Falling Look Like An Art

Jennifer Lawrence has just been dethroned as the queen of the spectacular, epic, graceful, and fashionable fall. Cara Delevingne fell while attending the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards (September 2) in London. J. Law fell while accepting her 2013 Oscar and she fell on the 2014 Oscar red carpet, all the while laughing at herself, causing critics, haters, and others to think the J. Law falls are faked, choreographed, and staged. Even so, Lawrence has just been unseated, her throne has been usurped by Delevingne.

Delevingne, who is this generation's Kate Moss IMHO, took a fall that one-upped any of Lawrence's couture-draped headers because she acted like it ain't no thang, post-tumble. Plus, she was wearing a long, black, and lacy Burberry Prorsum dress, according to The Huffington Post. The all-black frocks that Delevingne and fellow model Jourdan Dunn wore to the GQ event were a bit similar to the ensemble Beyonce wore to the VMAs two weeks ago, for all you fashion scorekeepers taking note.

But first, the lesson we learned from Cara Delevingne's fall? If you are going to fall hard —and not because you are "Drunk in Love" — you may as well do it while looking fabulous and having a sense of humor about it. She didn't scurry off. She laughed.

As Delevingne plummeted to the ground, she clung to designer Jonathan Saunders, who helped her back to her high-heeled feet. Oops! But what a gentleman. She landed on her back and the eyebrow princess and the designer looked like they were roughhousing. But alas, they weren't.

Falling is, like, the most embarrassing thing ever. But Delevingne, who is used to all eyes on her, made it look fun and funny. She quickly rebounded and then hung out with Dunn. These ladies (and the Queen Bey) are anything but basic in their not-so-LBDs.

Haters are probably speculating about which runway show J. Law will plot her next fall so she can reclaim her title as Most Graceful Celeb Faller.

Here's Bey at the VMAs being samesies. The dresses are styled different, but the long, black, and lacy frock is having a moment.

And lastly, this is Dunn doing a black dress. Hers is even more similar to Beyonce's dress, due to the long sleeves and length. I guess we all need to get a little more witchy with our LBDs for the fall.
