She Would Make a Great 'Project Runway' Judge

by Erin Mayer

There's no doubt that MObama is the most stylish FLOTUS since Jackie O. Even major fashion players know how cool she is. In fact, Michelle Obama is Heidi Klum's dream guest judge for Project Runway ! Truthfully, I can't think of anyone better suited for the job. I mean, who has better style (or better biceps) than the First Lady?

During the taping of the final episode of Project Runway, HuffPo Style asked Klum who her number one pick for a guest judge on a future season would be. "Michelle Obama, our first lady who is so fashionable. Our designers would literally fall off of their chairs if she would sit there one day... we would, too," said the supermodel. Even though I haven't watched PR in several years, a stint by Michelle Obama would have me DVRing that shit so fast.

Obama is just so beautifully put together all the time. She has a clear cut, classically edgy aesthetic, but, like a true style star, she isn't afraid to mix things up — or cause a little controversy. While her fashion sense isn't the only thing worth praising about the First Lady, it's great to see a political figure taking risks with her clothing choices. Here are seven times MObama proved she has the style chops to make it as a Project Runway judge.
