The Craziest Thing You've Ever Seen Her Wear

by Mary Avant

I have nothing but love, admiration, and a healthy amount of envy for the stunning and so, so sexy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. I mean, why wouldn't I? She's talented, she's undeniably gorgeous, she's sophisticated, and she has a really amazing sense of style. Until she doesn't. Or, rather, until she makes you scratch your head in confusion and amazement over her most recent outfit, wondering whether it's just downright awful or somehow amazing because she's the one wearing it. Which is exactly what happened with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at Spring '15 Paris Fashion Week when she showed up to the CR Fashion Book Issue No. 5 launch party on Tuesday evening.

Wearing a look fresh from the Spring 2015 collection that hit the Balmain runway just days ago, the supermodel donned an outfit that was both jaw droppingly seductive and, well, borderline "What were you thinking?" insane. Featuring black, white, and yellow stripes from head to toe, the halter-neck, wide-leg jumper was certainly an eye-catching party piece that I'm pretty sure only someone as smoking hot and practically perfect as Huntington-Whiteley could pull off with confidence in real life. (Kind of like that time Jennifer Lopez's puzzling dress-jumpsuit hybrid totally rocked at the Versace Fall 2014 Show.)

Of course, it probably doesn't hurt that the British beauty chose to wear this look without the bandeau seen on the runway, which meant that its daringly low-cut neckline added just that much more sex appeal to the always-sultry model's look. Plus, with legs that are a mile long and a lovely face that can make up for pretty much anything from neck down, the model was bound to stun in this atypical red-carpet ensemble.

So yes, this outfit would probably make 95 percent of Hollywood stars (and pretty much every real-world woman) look like circus clowns if they wore it on the red carpet or just out and about for a casual stroll, but you have to admit: Huntington-Whiteley is totally rocking it with confidence. And when you're wearing a striped jumpsuit like this one, that's a must.
