Another Fun Charli XCX Song To Hold Fans Over

Oi! Oi! Oi! Charli XCX shared another song from her upcoming LP, and SURPRISE! It’s a ton-o-fun. And by “SURPRISE!” I mean “A ton-o-fun Charli XCX song is the exact opposite of a surprise! Because all of her songs are ton-o-fun! And whaddya know? This new track follows suit!” Charli XCX's “London Queen,” which will appear on to-be-released album Sucker, has a high-energy, New Wave-y pop-punk vibe, yet still manages to feel very 2014. As the singer-songwriter told Rolling Stone, it sounds like “future Ramones.” If that description doesn't grab you, lemme put it to you this way: "London Queen" is catchy AF. Charli is seriously shaping up to be an unstoppable pop force.

Welp, please do not mind me as I break out the cocoa butter and draw myself an oatmeal bath, because I am ITCHIN' to hear the rest of the 22-year-old artist's sophomore album. First “Boom Clap,” then “Break the Rules,” and now “London Queen"? All three songs are a blast in a glass and I'm going to go ahead and assume that they are a representative sample of Sucker. My body is READY. Get here faster, Dec. 16! And to think, we almost had it on Oct. 21!
