'Jane the Virgin' & ' The Flash' Get Full Season Orders So Get Ready For More Twists & Turns From Both

When a network premieres a handful of new shows, it is always worrisome how many of them will actually survive a full season. Well, good news for fans of The CW and two of its new series, as The Flash and  Jane the Virgin have been ordered for a full season. This is great news for both shows as it allows the writers and creators of both series to take a full season to explore character relationships and plot lines over the course of a full season.

It is also exciting news for the actors of both shows. Jane the Virgin is the first show for actress Gina Rodriguez where she has played a series regular and title character. For Grant Gustin, of The Flash, Gustin has played recurring characters on a number of fan favorite shows (90210 and Glee), but this is most definitely his most talked about role to date.

The CW president, Mark Pedowitz, said that The Flash proved to be the most watched premiere in all of The CW history, while Jane the Virgin, has been praised by critics across the country, and here on Bustle. Not only are these two shows hits with the critics, but fans have also been showing their support for both series, as well, online. Here's what fans — even some famous fans —are saying about both of the freshmen shows for The CW.

Now all we need is for The CW to pick them up for a second season, right?
