Ariana Grande's New Video Is Pure Fire

Grab your sunglasses to protect your eyeballs and a handkerchief to dab the sweat off of your forehead, because the music video for Ariana Grande's “Love Me Harder” hit the interweb Monday and it, like the song, is like fire-breathing dragon riding a comet made out of lava. Ari and The Weeknd bring the fiyaaaah. To quote two non-Ariana Grande songs, "the heat is on" and "I'm burnin' up, burnin' up" for the "Love Me Harder" video, bay-beh.

When I watched the behind-the-scenes footage last Tuesday, I was like, “WTF is this sand-filled mansion I don’t understand what’s happening.” I’ve watched the music video several times since it made its Internet debut (can’t stop, won’t stop) and I still don’t really know what is up with that sand-filled mansion. But I don’t care that I don’t understand it. It looks awesome and that’s all that matters to me. And yes, now I am obsessed with that sand-filled mansion. (Like, I want to find an old mansion, fill it with sand and luxe furniture, and throw a party. How do I make that happen?) As Mary Murphy might say, PUT THAT SAND MANSION AND THIS MUSIC VIDEO ON THE HOT TAMALE TRAIN! WOOOOOHOOOOO!
