George Clooney Wore his Wedding Tuxedo To the Golden Globes, In Case You Needed Another Reason To Love Him
If you hadn't already fallen head over heels in love with George Clooney at the 2015 Golden Globes when he gave that beautiful speech to his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, after winning the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, you're about to. Speaking to reporters after the awards show ended, Clooney revealed that he was wearing his wedding tuxedo to the Golden Globes. I don't know why I find that so endearing, but it just elevated my love for the 53-year-old actor to levels I didn't know existed.
Maybe it's because just before discussing the origin of his suit, Clooney lamented how much harder awards shows are for women than men, and I was still swooning over that observation. Maybe it's because I think it's really sweet that he chose to wear a suit that had served him so well on an extremely important day to yet another significant event in his life. Maybe it's just because that suit looks really good on him. Whatever the reason, hearing that Clooney was got dressed on Sunday morning and decided to put on that same Armani tuxedo that he did the day he married the woman he praised on stage just hours earlier simply warmed my heart.
Oh and while we're on the subject of repeating outfits, I'd be thrilled to see Amal wear her stunning black gown and white gloves again, because that look is too gorgeous to retire after one event.
