Chrissy Teigen Has Joined The Beliebers

by Nicole Pomarico

When Justin Bieber first appeared on the scene, fresh out of the cradle with that awful haircut, I was in love. He was adorable, his music was cute, and he seemed like a genuinely sweet kid who was deserving of his sudden success. But recently, that opinion has definitely changed. The way he seemed to treat Selena Gomez while they were together, his arrests, the reckless behavior — I wasn't a fan and many people agreed with me. But Bieber's obviously been making an effort to change his ways and redeem himself lately, and it seems Chrissy Teigen is the latest celeb to be back on Team Bieber. In a recent Instagram post of hers, Chrissy Teigen admitted that after meeting Justin Bieber, she officially been converted into a Belieber. Yep, this is happening. And since Teigen is a Belieber, that means the rest of us need to follow suit, because she is a flawless individual and we must follow her example.

Apparently, this revelation took place while witnessing Bieber shoot an upcoming episode of Spike TV's Lip Synch Battle , which premieres April 2 and features Teigen as a commentator. Bieber was up against former NFL player Deion Sanders, and apparently, he made quite an impression on everyone involved.

And by Sanders' account, Bieber was a total sweetheart and even took the time to pose for a photo with his daughter, Shelomi, who was obviously thrilled that she got to meet him.

Is this it? Is this actually the day when the Earth changes its rotation and Justin Bieber is actually a sweetheart again? I have waited for this day for so many years. I have listened to "Baby" over and over again, praying that Bieber would see the light and return to his old ways. And now, my dreams may have finally become a reality.

In fact, as long as Bieber doesn't plan on violating my — and Chrissy Teigen's — trust, it might actually be OK to like him again. I reserve the right to take this back and pretend I never said it if he does something stupid again, of course, but for now? It might be safe to assume that Ellen DeGeneres' efforts have pulled through and Bieber is once again an upstanding member of society, or at least not a hoodlum. Hell, at this rate, maybe I'll even watch his next 3D movie. Anything's possible.

Bieber, if you're reading this, do not let us down, and especially don't let Teigen down, because John Legend will write the saddest song ever about all the terrible things you've done to our society in retaliation. And I really don't think the world is ready for another meme of Teigen's crying face.

This is the Justin Bieber I know and love. And although I don't want to make my final call until his Comedy Central roast airs, I think he's making a comeback.
