Your Fave 'Fast & Furious' Film Says A Lot

Over the past decade and a half, mankind has grown accustomed to a certain phenomenon, occurring approximately every 28 months like clockwork: the release of more Fast and the Furious movies. Along with that, we have also witnessed the related function people constantly arguing over which Fast and the Furious movie is the best Fast and the Furious movie. With the release of Furious 7 , the latest in the franchise, we've seen no shortage of film critics take to the challenging task of providing a definitive assessment of the bests and worsts of the incredibly prolific series.

But taking a gander at this new batch of rankings — courtesy of the talented writers at such sites as ScreenCrush, BuzzFeed, Digital Spy, and MTV — as well as at the legions that came in accordance with the release of the previous installment, Fast and Furious 6, we noticed something rather impressive: no two lists were alike! The Fast and Furious franchise distinguishes itself with highs to celebrate and lows to malign in each of its six entries to date, prompting a diversity of reaction when it comes to fans proclaiming favorites and least favorites.

Still, there are correlations to be mapped. You could very well love any one of the Fast and Furious movies (and hate just about any of 'em, too), but your pick for the top film will likely say something regarding how you feel about the rest of the bunch. Reading through 20 different Fast and Furious rankings and reviews, including those above (as well as on Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, IMDb, Entertainment Weekly, The Playlist, Esquire, The Daily Beast, The A.V.
