Three Major Coachella Sunglass Trends
So, weekend one of Coachella is out of the way, and there’s still weekend two to look forward to. But one weekend was plenty of time to establish major sunglass trends for festival season and beyond. Whether found on the faces of celebrities, or just your average festival goer, one thing’s for sure, the people of Coachella knew how to channel other eras with their eyewear. Three trends were most prominent throughout the fest: mirrored sunglasses, round sunglasses and aviators.
Mirrored sunglasses, most popular in the ‘70s, are the obvious choice for a music fest, but since the ‘70s are so in for Spring, you can rock them way beyond Coachella. They’re fun accessories that can add a great pop of color or just the right amount of metallic to any outfit.
Round sunglasses are definitely more of a ‘90s trend, but hey, the ‘90s are back in action, baby. Especially if you can add these to the list of suitable accessories for the time period. These are my personal favorite of the sunglasses to come out of Coachella. They’re girly and great for adding a little delicateness to your boho vibe.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the more unisex sunglass trend of the bunch: aviators. You can have some fun with these shades because you can have them come in a solid color or bring a little of the ‘70s in with a mirrored lens effect. Either way, they’re great to protect you from the sun at music fests and more this spring and summer.
