Candice Huffine Is Now A Designer

by Kali Borovic

Candice Huffine knows a thing of two about celebrating bodies, and the top model's #LovedByCandice clothing line aims to do just that. Designed by Huffine for Elena Mirò, the #LovedByCandice range has everything from little black dresses to jumpsuits to keep plus-size women around the globe looking and feeling great.

No stranger to hashtags, Huffine was a part of Lane Bryant's #ImNoAngel campaign that inspired women everywhere to embrace their body types. Since then, the model has been working on her ready-to-wear line, which recently launched in Italy, France, and Spain with plans to come to the United Kingdom and United States (yay!) as well.

According to Glamour, Huffine is the first plus-size model to design a ready-to-wear collection in over a decade. The seven-piece collection has a variety of different styles including patterned tops, little black dresses, and jumpsuits to easily go from day to night. Silhouettes range from tight to loose-fitting (no shapeless, baggy tunics here), so this line makes it easy to flaunt whatever style you feel sexiest in.

Standouts from the range include an all-black, silver zippered jumpsuit and some busily patterned tie-up tops. The whole thing has a slightly '70s feel to it, but it is able to balance out the bright colors with sleek pieces that draw in everyone from the most conventional to the more outrageous plus-size fashionistas.

According to her Instagram, Huffine believes that "women come in all shapes and sizes... and it's time to celebrate that."

Her followers appear to be as excited about the line's recent launch as she is.

It's great to see even more fabulous options to the ever-expanding pool of plus-size fashions.
