Super Pip The Crime-Fighting Duckling Is Not The Hero We Need, But The Hero We All Deserve — VIDEO

These are dangerous times we live in. There is a bird who laughs like an evil villain who is probably plotting our demise, and also some #realtalk danger like the guy who attacked people with a hammer in New York this past week. But we can rest easy now, everyone. Now we have Super Pip, the duckling who fights crime while derping around in an itty bitty BuzzFeed cape. One look at this worthy adversary in action will convince you that is exactly the kind of hero we have all been waiting for.

Super Pip is a duckling of few words, so he has not yet divulged his full plans for reforming the criminals of his city, nor has he revealed his civilian identity. I suppose it's better off this way. Super Pip probably has a family and loved ones he needs to protect, and we don't want another Gwen Stacy situation on our hands. In the meantime, though, we can bask in his feathery ferocity and trust that his intentions are pure.

In case you ever find yourself in a dire situation that only Super Pip can save you from, it's important to know how to summon his adorable self, and what exactly you can expect from this tiny champion. Here are some of the world's first glimpses of the formidable hero in action.

Guys, crime is ~everywhere~

A purse snatcher/member of the Jets in West Side Story could sneak up on you at any moment.

Luckily, you're not alone

Much like the bat signal, you can call Pip's name, and he will stop mid-migration to save your wallet.

Pip is no ordinary hero

You can see it in his eyes. He is here to win, guys.

Come hell or high water, he will risk it all to save the innocent

Look at that determination. Look at that fire. He is an inspiration to us all.

You will rue the day you ever messed with Pip

#Bless this selfless tiny hero

We should throw a parade in his honor. DIBS on being the mostly irrelevant pop star who performs on his float.

Here is Pip in his full glory:
