The Most Adorable Michelle Tanner Moments EVER

by Jennifer Still

I don't know about you guys, but I'm absolutely stoked for the Netflix Full House spin-off, Fuller House , that'll be coming to our preferred screens later this year — and I never use the word "stoked". The series will revolve around the life of DJ Tanner, played the Candace Cameron Bure, who's struggling to raise her three kids after the death of her husband with the help of longtime BFF Kimmy Gibler (Andrea Barber). But while DJ might be the focal point of Fuller House, the rest of the characters we love will also be there, including Uncle Jesse (among others). Have mercy! However, not all of the original cast was keen on returning to reprise their roles, and it was confirmed earlier this week that Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen won't be back as Michelle Tanner, which was a major bummer.

It was Uncle Jesse himself — and by Uncle Jesse I mean John Stamos — who seems to have taken the news as hard as the shows legions of loyal fans have done. I mean, just look what he posted on Twitter after hearing of the Olsens' decision:

Aw, man. Now I'm twice as bummed, if that's even possible. But don't worry, all is not lost. We're lucky to have an awesome 8 seasons of the original Full House series to relive our favorite Michelle Tanner moments, and it might just help to ease the pain of the character's absence from the upcoming spin-off.

"Uncle Jesse Locked Me Out!"

Uncle Jesse was getting hot and heavy with Aunt Becky, but Michelle — being a toddler and all — wasn't really getting the hint whenever he wanted to spend some alone time with her. So she got locked out of the attic, and she wasn't all that happy about it.

The Best Wedding Ever

Michelle wanted to get married to Steve, and what's a teenage boy to do when a toddler wants him to put a ring on it but oblige? The entire family, including Michelle's extended stuffed animal kin, were in attendance, and it was basically the cutest thing ever.

Pre-School Dreaming

It's the night before school starts, and Michelle is having some amazing dreams about what pre-school will hold in store for her. If this didn't make you cry with laughter, I don't know what's wrong with you.

Getting Her Head Stuck In The Fence

Except, you know, not really — it was all one big ruse, and anyone with eyes could have seen that the panels Michelle's head was stuck between were loose and definitely not capable of trapping anyone. But the '90s were a simpler time, so let's just sit back and enjoy.

Trying To Stay Awake On New Year's Eve

Don't worry, Michelle, I rarely make it to midnight these days, either. It's a long, drawn-out night with a payoff that lasts about two minutes if you're lucky, and totally overrated.

"No More Ballerina!"

Sometimes you just gotta throw down your tutu and start singing Annie songs, right?

Getting Her Diaper Changed

An early Michelle moment, but a classic (though I suppose it's more of an Uncle Jesse/Joey moment, but whatever). Watching these two take care of a baby Michelle is adorable and hilarious at the same time.
