They're best known for playing Sam and Dean Winchester on The CW's Supernatural, but Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are quickly making a name for themselves on social media. Unlike many celebrities, the actors seem to keep to themselves, when they aren't busy making a TV show, going on press tours, attending Supernatural conventions, or being photographed by paparazzi (which is usually less often than you might think). It doesn't appear the two want their personal lives on display (and who can blame them), so when the two joined Facebook and Twitter, I couldn't have been happier.
First, Padalecki started tweeting and the next thing I knew, Ackles was right there with him. Supernatural junkies rejoiced in the fact that they could now, not only keep tabs on their favorite TV brothers, but could bond with these two actors via social media. What's better than partaking in the lives of two people you have watched on TV for 10 seasons?
For two celebs who aren't constantly active online and are fairly new in the social media world, Padalecki and Ackles know how to use Twitter and Facebook, the right way. Basically, these two win at social media and I praise them for their achievement.

2. When They Raised Awareness For A Good Cause
In addition to having a partnership on TV and as friends, Ackles and Padalecki also share a partnership when it comes to getting the word out about Padalecki's organization, Always Keep Fighting. The two continue to raise awareness for those battling depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. They sure are real-life heroes, if I do say so myself.
3. When The Proved They Are Real-Life BFF's
Basically, they're just like Sam and Dean.
4. When They Live Tweeted Supernatural
There's nothing better than watching a show, while the stars of that show live tweet. It's like you're watching together, though, it'd be that much better if Ackles and Padalecki were actually on my couch.
5. When They Got Sassy With Their Co-Stars
There's no doubt the cast of Supernatural are jokesters. So, when we get to see them kid around on social media, well, it's more than fantastic.
6. When They Were Honest About Life
After Padalecki took a break from the fan conventions because he was "suffering from exhaustion," as his manager told Zap2it, no one was more supportive than Ackles, as you can see here. This just goes to show you that these two are only human and can't do it all. Nothing is more admirable than honesty, especially when you're in the public eye.
7. When They Supported Their Fans
JarPad and Jensen truly appreciate their fans, which they continue to show through Twitter and Facebook. They love us and we love them.
8. When They Were All-Around Hilarious
Does it get better than seeing the Winchester brothers act up in real life? No, it does not.
