Denim Jackets Are Making a Comeback
Hail the resurrection of '90s fashion! Denim jackets are making a comeback. According to the label's Instagram announcement Wednesday, the Coach Bleached Denim Lacquer Rivet Jean Jacket was featured in the July issue of Vogue Paris, so I’m thinking this is absolutely reason to believe jean jackets are definitely making their way back in style. You heard it here first; the fashion industry is giving us the green light on denim jackets. Wallets at the ready, ladies, shopping is about to get serious.
I am always looking for a reason to shop, but this is a completely valid argument, don’t you think? I always thought denim jackets were a classic spring-summer staple, even when my sisters tried to convince me otherwise. Obviously, I was ahead of the times. Score one for me!
Not only are denim jackets making a comeback, but they’re doing so with a certain flair. These aren’t your standard denim outerwear complete with collar and four or five buttons. We’ve got white denim, wash-out denim, fading denim, dark and light and medium denim. We’re seeing cropped jackets and long jackets, traditional and bedazzled jackets. Coming back swinging, this '90s staple is proving itself worthy of purchase, and I don’t know about you, but I’m sold!
