The Best Looks From The Coach & Friends Party
Coach recently held the 5th Annual Coach and Friends of the High Line Summer Party at... you guessed it, the High Line in New York City (as a heathen/non-New Yorker, I had to look it up, and it turns out, it's a public park situated on an elevated section of an unused portion of the New York Central Rail Road, and it's really pretty). As you can imagine, it was quite the well-attended, well-dressed party, with spokeswoman Chloe Grace Moretz and Mad Men style star Kiernan Shipka leading the fashion charge.
Coach has been trying to refurbish themselves with a more youthful image over the past couple years (step one was edging the brand up with a new Creative Director, and step two was hiring Chloe Grace Moretz as a spokeswoman), and that sense of rebranding was definitely reflected in the attendees of last night's soiree. Heck, two of the biggest-name guests are still young enough to attend high school, and many of the other guests (which included Suki Waterhouse, Courtney Eaton, Dylan Penn, and more) skewed towards the younger side of the spectrum.
Now, Coach's rebranding aside, all guests were pretty darn fabulously dressed. Let's take a look at all of the best outfits of the night!
Chloe Grace Moretz
Moretz went for a mix of preppy and edgy with a heathered shirt with Peter Pan collar-like sheer panels, along with a leather skirt and a crossbody bag.
Kiernan Shipka
Shipka made neckerchiefs the world over look more fashionable than they have any right to be, when she paired a colorful scarf with a floral-detailed structured dress, chunky sandals, and an adorable chained oxblood purse.
Kate Bosworth
Like Moretz, Bosworth went for a sheer Peter Pan collar, though she went for a more colorful top, along with stylish slacks, and some seriously cool silver loafers.
Suki Waterhouse
Waterhouse's dress shared a pattern with Kiernan's number, though instead of structured, her laid back ensemble reflected her status as the consummate je ne sais quoi-infused cool girl (and check out those shoes).
Courtney Eaton
Future style crush/Mad Max: Fury Road star Courtney Eaton could maybe use some neckerchief-styling tips from Shipka, but this is still a pretty darn cool Western-inspired look.
Dylan Penn
Sometimes, you can never go wrong with a simple skull-emblazoned T-shirt (especially when happen you share Robin Wright's bone structure).
Ady An
More stylish neckerchiefs and silver loafers, and the cutest hairdo of the night!
What do you think? It was quite the soiree of fabulousness piled upon fabulousness piled upon fabulousness — and the ridiculously high style quotient of the night is certainly enough to get me shopping at Coach (or, at least, the Coach outlet).
