Over the years, Bravo fans have been fortunate enough to watch some Real Housewives stars on programs like Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Apprentice, and The Young and the Restless, but I would like to see more. Not to say those performances aren't fantastic (because they are so fantastic), but there are some other shows I want to see Real Housewives guest star on. I just wish to see the Real Housewives showcase their talents and brilliance on the small screen as much as possible. Can you blame me?
Would I be happy to see any Real Housewife on just about any television program? Probably. That being said, there are some specific Real Housewife/non-Real Housewives show crossovers that I would really dig. And yes, I shall share my list with you. I don’t know if I’d call every item on this list realistic, but who cares? I sure don’t care. I dream big, and I’m not about to let “but could it actually happen?” get in my way.
So yes, some of these are more grounded in reality than others. Some are more obvious fits than others. Some are more out there than others. All of them are close to my heart.
1. Erika Girardi, The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I would like to see Girardi on… Bob’s Burgers. I could listen to Girardi talk all day. There’s just something so soothing about her tone and cadence. She could be the voice of — and I’m just spitballing here — the owner of a new skate shop that opens down the street from Bob’s Burgers. And Tina could get really into skateboarding. And Girardi’s character could mentor Tina. And there could be a musical number at a skate park. Or something.
2. Kandi Burruss, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I would like to see Burruss on… The Voice. She knows what she’s doing (see: “No Scrubs”), she’s supportive, and she’s charming. Whether she was one of the four coaches or one of the four mentors, Burruss would be awesome on this singing competition show.
3. Lisa Vanderpump, The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I would like to see Vanderpump on… Hell’s Kitchen. The accomplished restauranteur would make for a SUR-purb guest judge on Gordon Ramsay’s cooking competition show. Also? She’d probably bring at least one small dog with her. Always a bonus.
4. Ramona Singer, The Real Housewives Of New York City
I would like to see Singer on… The Bachelorette. She tweeted about it once. I have yet to let go.
5. Shereé Whitfield, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I would like to see Whitfield on… Cupcake Wars. As a judge, not a competitor. (I mean, unless she also happens to have a knack at baking and decorating elaborate cupcakes? And if that's the case, she should get her own cupcake show.) It could be a RHOA-themed challenge; the cupcakes could be for some sort of Real Housewives party. You know Whitfield’s feedback would be the most quotable and GIF-worthy.
6. Vicki Gunvalson, The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I would like to see Gunvalson on… Westworld. She could play a park guest. Gunvalson whooping it up through the park would really treat me right.
7. Phaedra Parks, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I would like to see Parks on… Veep. Parks is hands down one of the funniest Housewives, and Veep is one of the funniest shows on TV. Put ‘em together and what have you got? Probably a really funny cameo.
8. Dorit Kemsley, The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I would like to see Vanderpump on… Fargo. When it comes to picking up different accents and dialects, Kemsley’s skills cannot be denied. Why not give her a Minnesota accent and see what happens?
9. Sonja Morgan, The Real Housewives Of New York City
I would like to see Morgan on… American Horror Story. She’d make a terrific glamorous ghost. A glamghost. A ghlamst. That portmanteau is gross, but I like it. If AHS ever needs a ghlamst, Morgan’s the answer.
10. Siggy Flicker, The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I would like to see Flicker on… Celebrity Big Brother. The moment I saw Flicker suck down bisque through a straw, I knew she was unstoppable. She has a heart of gold, she’s hilarious, and she’s so ridiculously likable. Who would ever want to vote Flicker out of the house?
11. Tamra Judge, The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I would like to see Judge on… Survivor. Watch the “That’s my opinion” scene and try to tell me Judge isn’t a force of nature. She might not win, but she’d definitely be in it to win it. That’s all I can really ask for.
If you ask me, all 11 would make for tremendous cameos. But hey, that's my opinion.
