Drop everything, because the greatest news ever has been reported: a Spice Girls reunion tour is coming to the United Kingdom and the United States, according to TMZ sources. (Bustle has reached out to the Spice Girls for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.) Fans have been hoping for a Spice Girls reunion for years, but it's only recently that it has actually seemed possible. And, luckily for fans, TMZ has already offered an idea of when the Spice Girls reunion tour will be coming our way.

According to the site, sources "connected to the women" claim that their recent meeting was to work toward the "goal" of a "world tour that will kick off in late summer." First, the women will reportedly perform in England and then they'll eventually perform in the United States. TMZ also claims that there will be no new music performed, so the reported reunion tour will give fans a chance to celebrate the Spice Girls and the Spice Girls' entire discography to this point.

It's everything that fans have been hoping and dreaming for years — and, more importantly, it would be in line with what teasing details we've managed to get from the band members so far.

On Friday, Feb. 2, it was reported by The Sun that the Spice Girls had all gotten together for a meeting in London along with their manager, Simon Fuller. The story was confirmed when Victoria Beckham née Adams (Posh Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Geri Horner née Halliwell (Ginger Spice) posted the same picture of the five women gathered together. Beckham's Instagram post featured the caption, "Love my girls!!! So many kisses!!! X Exciting x #friendshipneverends #girlpower." Amidst all the speculation over what this all meant, the band then released a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight that read,

"We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generation."

Between the picture and the statement, fans wasted no time in asking if the Spice Girls would be going on a tour, releasing new music, doing a TV show, or anything in between. After all, "incredible new opportunities" could mean anything.

Bunton also teased details about the meeting on her Heart FM morning show on Monday, revealing that, "The main thing was that we sat together and have gone, 'Right, there's things, there's opportunities here, are we all in?' So exciting things to come."

Previous rumors of a reunion had been dispelled by the women, all of whom seemed at least faintly interested in doing something together again — except for Beckham. In fact, when three of the women — Geri, Emma, and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) — reunited as the band GEM, Beckham made her opinion of the group very clear, according to the Telegraph:

"I do think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad."

Well, if the TMZ report has any truth to it, it looks like Beckham won't have to be sad, because it will be the Spice Girls performing the Spice Girls' greatest hits — and this time it will be the entire band all together. Here's hoping that the band confirms the news themselves very soon, and tells fans where and how to start buying those tickets.
