I think we can all agree that Adele can pull of things that literally no one else can. Not only when it comes to smashing record sales records and leaving music award ceremonies with more awards than any other artist, but Adele seems to be able to get away with saying and doing things that other stars simply couldn't. I mean, could you imagine anyone else stopping mid way through a live, televised performance to start over? Or, could you imagine another artist acknowledging that a competitor deserved to win an award more than they did? Nope, that's the kind of stuff only Adele can do, and when it comes to giving presents apparently the same is true. Case in point, for Harry Styles' 21st birthday Adele did something so hilarious and bold, that literally only she could pull it off.

Styles recently visited BBC Radio 1 for an interview to promote his debut single "Sign Of The Times," which drops on Friday, April 7. During his conversation with host Nick Grimshaw, Styles shared details on the birthday gift Adele gave him a few years ago. The former One Direction member said, "For my 21st she gave me [a copy] of her album 21 and said, 'I did some pretty cool stuff when I was 21, good luck' and I was like, 'geez.'"

Such a classic Adele move, and definitely the kind of thing only she could get away with. Not only because Adele is the only artist (to my knowledge) who has an album titled 21, but because if another star gave someone a copy of their own work, it might seem conceited. But that's definitely not the case with Adele, who seems totally genuine and — not to mention — downright hilarious.

"I've spoken to her a little bit," Styles told Grimshaw when asked about whether or not he's been been able to ask Adele for advice on being a solo artist. "But I don't think so much advice, I just like how she does stuff." And to that I'll say, same. Literally no one does ~stuff~ better than Adele.
