2017 is already set to be a way better year than 2016 was, and one of the reasons for that is the rumored pairing between Drake and Jennifer Lopez. While neither has explicitly confirmed their relationship yet, there have been a lot of reports detailing their romance, and the world is hopeful that Drake and Lopez are a legit couple. From suggestive Instagram photos of the pair snuggling, to sources describing romantic gestures that Drake has been planning to surprise his supposed bae, there's been a lot of evidence that J. Lo and Drake are really together.

According to Us Weekly, a source close to pair said that Lopez and Drake "are the real deal." The cutest part of the magazine's latest report is that according to one of Drake's friends, Lopez "was his childhood crush," which makes me hope that their love is for real. Putting all of the rumors together, it's starting to look more and more likely that the two musicians have started dating, or at the very least are collaborating on an incredibly romantic duet. While I hope that the former is true, it's a great time to reexamine all of the evidence that Drake and Lopez are actually dating so far.

The Iconic Instagram

The same photo was shared by both Drake and Lopez, leading fans to question whether they were officially announcing their relationship. Bustle writer Amy Roberts pointed out that it could just be the cover art for a new single, but the pair look incredibly comfortable together, which gives me life.

The Prom Footage

Footage of Lopez and Drake attending "prom" prompted swoons the world over. They might just be shooting a music video, sure, but maybe Drake really did plan the event as a romantic gesture? According to Us Weekly, Drake was the perfect date:

"He had the space decked out with snowflake cutouts and metallic foil fringe, hired a band and arranged for he and Lopez (sporting a floral corsage, of course) to be crowned king and queen."

Please let this be real.

Drake Went To See Lopez's Vegas Show

Drake looked every bit the doting boyfriend, snapped in the audience by a fan at a recent performance by Lopez of her All I Have show in Las Vegas. Apparently the "Hotline Bling" performer attended two separate Lopez gigs, which is dedicated!

Lopez Was Spotted Wearing Drake's Necklace

Some eagle-eyed fans spotted Lopez wearing Drake's necklace in this photo on Instagram. As The Mirror reported, "Drake, who has been pictured wearing the same necklace in recent photos, wasn't with the star in the snaps, but she proudly wore the gold chain." This certainly seems like something a loved-up couple would do.

They Spend Nights Together Listening To Music, According To Sources

Us Weekly also reported that "Nights at Lopez’s 8-acre Bel-Air estate in Los Angeles have left her equally smitten." While this is pretty much an unsubstantiated rumor, it's certainly believable that the pair would connect over music. Speaking to Us Weekly, a source allegedly close to Lopez said, “They’re both single, attractive and have a lot in common, so it’s natural." Well, I'm convinced.

Another Loved-Up Instagram

Drake posted this photo of him with the biggest grin on his face, next to the "Ain't Your Mama" singer, with the caption, "😍 <-------- Lotta those." Certainly sounds as though there's a lot of love there.

Drake's Private Party In December

As reported by TMZ on Dec. 20, 2016, Drake rented out Delilah restaurant in WeHo just before Christmas, and Lopez was one of his special guests. Was this a business dinner, or a pre-Christmas celebration, at which Lopez was Drake's date?

Their NYE Date

According to Perez Hilton, Lopez spent New Year's Eve at Drake's show at Hakkasan nightclub. If the pair did see in 2017 together, it sounds as though they're planning on spending a lot more time together.

While we'll all have to wait for further confirmation of whether Drake and Lopez are together, I certainly hope that the pair are official, as they're the perfect love story for 2017.
