Stop what you're doing, because major ColourPop news is here. Normally, the brand is all about surprise launches and promos, but this time the announcement is a little different. According to Instagram, ColourPop is postponing the Crushed Crystal Collection launch. While it may be a sad time to be a makeup addict, the set-back is for a good reason. Here's everything you need to know, because there's a whole lot to take in.
Before I start with all the updated info, let me fill you in. On June 16, ColourPop surprised their fans with two new palettes — Yes, Please, their first ever fixed-shadow set, and Gimmie More, a kit of six pressed highlighter. They both sold out on the very first day. According to the brand's Instagram stories, because the two sets sold out so fast, they've had a hard time shipping them fast enough.
Which brings me to the next order of business. According to the Instagram post, ColourPop has decided to postpone the restock of Yes, Please and Gimmie More as well as the launch of their Crushed Crystal Collection. This way they can make sure orders get out on time before what's sure to be another fast-selling launch. So while this might be a bummer for now, it will all pay off in the end.
As of June 28, there is no update on when the restock or launch date will be. It sounds like the date will depend on how fast the brand can push orders out. ColourPop always does a good job of updating their customers on launch details and has promised to announce the date as soon as they have it.
In case you might've missed it, ColourPop's Crushed Crystal Collection is filled with three different products in four different scents and shades. There will be the Crystal Priming Spray, Setting Spray, and Lip Balm available in Aventurine, Aquamarine, Amethyst, and Rose Quartz. According to the YouTube video, each product has the crystal in it and will be the same affordable price, ranging from $5 to $6.
Both the relaunch and the Crush Crystal Collection will be limited edition, so I'm willing to bet they're sell extremely fast. As hard as it is to wait for something this stunning, it's nice knowing that the brand is listening to their customers and going out of their way to make the buying process better.
