Sorry, May flowers, but you've been usurped. April showers now bring new Harry Styles music. Early Friday morning, Harry Styles dropped “Sign of the Times," and whew, it deserves all of the hype. Clamoring to hear more musical stylings by the One Direction cutie patootie? You and me both. And lucky us, it looks like we won't have to wait too long. According to Billboard, Styles will perform another new song on SNL.

Yes, Styles will reportedly play "Sign of the Times" and a second fresh tune on Saturday Night Live. The publication’s sources didn’t reveal the exact release date of the mystery second song, but hey, at least we have a ballpark idea: Either sometime before or during the April 15 episode of SNL, the boy bander-turned-airborne solo act may unveil his followup to “Sign of the Times.”

As exciting as all of this is, I suppose it isn't exactly the most mind-blowing scoop to ever waltz onto the internet: SNL musical guests traditionally perform twice an episode, so dude's got to have a second tune to sing. Sure, Styles could’ve tackled a solo rendition of a 1D classic like “Story of My Life” or “What Makes You Beautiful.” And sure, he could’ve opted to cover another artist’s record. But given that he's been working on music for some time, why wouldn't Styles pull a Lorde on SNL (i.e., play brand spankin' new tracks)?

By golly, did the 1D dude's first foray into the solo artist arena deliver. “Sign of the Times,” a sprawling ’70s rock-infused power ballad that soars like a Styles mask-wearing stunt double, is a fantastic debut. I love every second of the track, but that final minute? For that final minute, Styles lets it rip and the result is nothing short of magic.

And next week, he may gift us with yet another magical song. Goodness, gracious, great Styles of Harry.
