Making a triumphant return to The Voice stage during Tuesday night's Top 10 reveal episode was a former contestant and the subsequent winner of Season 10. Alisan Porter returned, performing her song "Deep Water" on The Voice. It was certainly good to have Porter back on that hallowed stage and watching her perform an original song made the return even more bittersweet. It's no surprise that the song itself is a hit in the making, so how can you stream Porter's "Deep Water" following that magical Voice performance?

Luckily, if you have iTunes, the you can stream Porter's "Deep Water" right now. The song has been available for a few days now, but there's no doubt that her performance of the song on The Voice will lead to a great clamor from fans to hear it again. The song itself is a serious, country-tinged pop ballad that will make fans of Porter's voice take notice right away. Porter's voice on the track is reminiscent of Carole King, with its soul and earnestness. The composition and instrumentation of deep water is also reminiscent of King. It all comes together with rather powerful results.

"Deep Water" tells a very meaningful and personal story for Porter. During a short interview clip, she explained that "Deep Water" is a song about "finding your way and connecting with someone who is finding their way." It's meant to be a hopeful song, too. There's no doubt that the lyrics of "Deep Water" support that thesis and message.

Porter made her mark in Voice history when she first auditioned back in 2016. A former child actor, her work on The Voice effectively freed her from being tied down by her past. Her talent was always clear and present from the moment she performed her blind audition. Now, a winner through and through, Porter is ready to release her first EP, I Come In Pieces. It's been a long and winding road to get to this point but now, with "Deep Water," Porter seems poised for solo success.
