In The Bustle Booth With Tia Mowry

When celebrities come into Bustle HQ in New York, whether it's for a photoshoot, videoshoot, or a Facebook Live, we want to give them the chance to leave their mark. Literally. So we hand them a pen, a piece of paper, a few questions, and ask them to get creative. The rest is up to them. This time, Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry is leaving her mark in the Bustle Booth.

Tia Mowry knows how to cook up a good time — especially in the kitchen. For three seasons she's starred in Cooking Channel's Tia Mowry At Home, and now she's taking the natural next step and putting all of her go-to recipes in print. Mowry's new cookbook Whole New You is an adventure into wholesome, healthy, delicious eating, and it's full of easy-to-make meals that Mowry tells Bustle she swears by. (Among her favorites? A decadent-looking stack of banana pancakes with blistered blueberries — yum.)

Mowry visited Bustle's New York office to shoot a Facebook Live video, where she opened up about the importance of fueling your body with food you love, that's also great for you. It's something she takes pretty seriously; after being diagnosed with endometriosis, Mowry made it her mission to find foods that would help to fight infection, eliminate inflammation, and ultimately just make her feel like her best self.

Mowry's energy is infectious, and no topic is off limits — and when she stepped into the Bustle Booth, you better believe food was still on her mind. Just wait until you see her describe her favorite pizza... it sounds amazing.
