After a lot of breakup rumors and a lot of drama, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have broken up. And yes, it's definitely a definite split, because Minaj was considerate enough to let us all know about it herself in a tweet and wish us all a blessed 2017. The rapper tweeted on Thursday: "To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work and looking forward to sharing it with you real soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u." Twitter went wild almost immediately, of course, and users are wondering what this means... for Drake.

Of course, he's (maybe?) with Jennifer Lopez now, but Drake's probably been missing Minaj from his life since his infamous feud with Meek Mill that started in summer 2015 (oh god, where does the time go?). She and Drake used to be in the Young Money family together, making amazing tracks, and generally being infatuated with each other. But considering his feud with Meek, it was probably a lot harder for them to be friends. Many Twitter users are pointing out, though, that Drake just retired "Back to Back," his diss track against Meek, and Minaj and Meek broke up right after. Hopeful fans are hoping she took this as some sort of apology, but who really knows.

Predictions of what this breakup will mean for Drake are flying, but seems everyone can agree that Drake is giddy like a young Jimmy Brooks:

And what about J. Lo? Many Twitter users think Drake's dropping her real quick for Minaj:

There are those who stan for a Nicki Minaj/Drake relationship...

And plenty of people are excited about new Nicki Minaj/Drake music collaborations, since they haven't worked together in forever:

And the diss track of fans' dreams, if Drake wanted to ignite another Meek Mill feud:

One thing is for sure: Nicki Minaj is already having a blessed New Year:

As much as I would love for her to be with Drake, finally, after all this time, if she really is just focusing on the work, then good for her. But at the very least I do hope some of that work is a Drake collaboration. I need another "Truffle Butter."
