These New Leggings Under $70 Are Amazing If You've Got A Bigger Butt

While leggings are designed to be as comfortable as it gets, unfortunately, they're also not immune to the never-ending struggle of finding pants that actually fit well when you have a larger booty and hips that leave you perpetually in between sizes. Lou & Grey, the Ann Taylor brand that's earned obsession-worthy status in the few years it's been around, has a solution for that. They just launched their activewear line, FORM, and the workout tights are a dream for anyone who has a hard time finding leggings for a big butt.

Alongside trendy pull-on jackets, comfy sports bras, and technical running tops, the high-impact workout leggings are more than just a chic addition to your workout wardrobe. They feel amazing, too, whether you're doing squats and burpees or you're hitting up a brunch and errands.

These amazing leggings solve a common dilemma for ladies with butts and hips that make it seemingly impossible to find a pair of pants that fits perfectly. Normally, sizing up in leggings is necessary to be able to put 'em on without breaking a sweat, but then you've got that annoying gap-y waist to deal with (and it's not like you can belt a pair of workout leggings).

And while going back down a size may solve the waist problem, it doesn't count for much when the pants are so tight you can't move (or, when they're potentially see-through). Basically, there's always a give and take — till now.

Lou & Grey's High-Impact Leggings come in both a long and a cropped style, and the best part is that they're just under $70 a pair. While they're not technically high waisted, they have a wide waistband, so they fall somewhere in between a high-rise and a mid-rise fit.

And in keeping with Lou & Grey's insanely cozy offerings in general (seriously, everything in the store is a kinesthetic delight, from unimaginably buttery sweaters to super-soft tees), the fabric feels ultra luxe and more expensive than it is, too.

These long leggings are perfect motivation for your winter workout game. (Or, for cozy Netflix nights in. No judgement.)

The pretty rose gold zippered pocket doesn't hurt, either. (Because after all, everything's better with pockets.)

Because the butt and waist are a little roomier than most tights, you might want to consider going down a size if you typically experience waist gapping with your workout leggings. For now, Lou & Grey's High Impact leggings are available from size XXS to size XL, but considering how great they are for bigger butts, hopefully the brand will expand their sizing soon so everyone can get in on the magic.

Till then, though, if that size range doesn't work for you, here are three other amazing pairs of leggings that are great for bigger booties and hips that have a plus-size range of options.
