These New 'PLL' Photos Raise Plenty Of Questions

OK, so at this point, I'm just going to go right ahead and assume that you've watched the first minute of the Pretty Little Liars Season 7B premiere in all of its dramatic glory. And also that you have a countdown timer for the premiere date set up on your phone. (Me too.) But what you haven't seen yet, and will definitely want to, are these new photos from the final 10 episodes of PLL. You know, just to make you even more excited than you already are. And trust me, when I say that these images seem to be teasing quite a bit of intrigue.

As well as showing the ever-adorable return of Holden to Pretty Little Liars (guys, he's just too cute. I can't cope), the photos also show Spencer recovering from two major shocks at the end of Season 7A, but standing strong, regardless. There's also some major bicycle fun; what looks like a very grown-up, professional lunch between Hanna and Mona; and the Liars' usual sleuthing antics that we've come to know and love over the course of seven thrilling seasons.

And now, in the great sleuthing spirit of the Liars, it's time to take a closer look at just what exactly could be going on in some of the most intriguing photos released so far.

Spencer's Mysterious Letter

If you look closely at that envelope, you'll see that it's addressed "For my child," which means that either it's written by Mary Drake or Veronica Hastings. Either way, it seems like Spencer might finally get some answers regarding her birth mother's identity.

Spencer's Mom Might Know About The Mary Drake Revelation

Spencer clearly falls asleep after reading this letter. Regardless of who it's from, it's implied in this picture that Veronica may know about Spencer's recent realization about her birth mom and will be there to support her through the confusion of the shocking revelation (as well as her recovery from that gunshot wound).

This Mysterious Box Probably Won't Contain A Nice, Fun Surprise

Freeform/Eric McCandless

Call me crazy, but that looks like a big, black box of doom to me. I don't care how big, red, and fun that bow is on top, the contents of that box will not be good. This totally reeks of A.D., and frankly, I'm a little scared. But, on a more positive note: Spencer is awake and upright, meaning yay, she survived.

Hanna Is Lunching With Mona. And Taking Notes?

I mean, I don't know what's happening here. But gauging from the fact that there's only one (very wholesome) glass of milk and what appears to be a half-eaten muffin on that table, I'd wager that Hanna is doing some work alone, and that Mona gatecrashes her lunch to tell her something that she might not want to hear. Like, where's your lunch, Mona?

Aria & Holden Appear To Be On Very Good Terms

Freeform/Eric McCandless

We haven't seen Holden since Season 3, and that's kind of bugged a lot of fans, including myself. But he's back, guys. And from the looks of things, he and Aria are still just as friendly as they used to be. In fact, it looks like Aria is challenging his martial art skills here, and he's like, "oh damn, time to go all John Wick on Rosewood," which honestly, I wish he would.

... And Holden & Ezra Seem To Be Getting Along Too

I mean, that's a stern, respectful handshake, right? I like this. I approve. I hope they go bowling together.

But Most Importantly, Can We Please Just Marvel At This Photo Of Ezra Riding A Bike?

Freeform/Eric McCandless

There are no words that can fully express just how much I love this picture, and just how little I understand what's happening in it. Like, isn't your ex that you thought was dead actually alive, and your currently partner is still being hassled by a murderous, anonymous assailant, Ezra? But no, by all means — have fun on that bike, dude. Blow off some steam and stuff.

I feel like we've been waiting since forever for the final episodes of PLL to air. But slowly but surely, all of the videos and photos that are being released of Season 7B are showing us that it'll definitely be worth the wait.
