This Bob Ross-Inspired Eye Makeup Is Epic AF

by May Sofi

You know what I love most about makeup? How it allows for total creative expression, and serves as the perfect medium for creating unique works of art. Eyelid art has been a thing for a while now, and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. The latest obsession around the web is this Bob Ross-inspired eye makeup, and Twitter is totally loving it.

Twitter user @thai_brows (aka Jenny Srimuang) shared a photo of her eyelid masterpiece on Jan. 10, and the close-up shot of their eye featured a near exact replica of one of Ross' beloved scenic nature scenes.

If you're not familiar with Bob Ross' work, you may not know how insanely intricate it is. The paintings look super hard to recreate on canvas, so I can only imagine how much more difficult it is to paint on an eyelid. The Ross-inspired look that Srimuang chose includes tons of color and tiny detail, which makes it even more tricky to re-imagine with makeup.

The look took “around an hour to complete the one eye," Srimuang told Buzzfeed News. “I used tons of colored eyeliners and the back of my hand was like a mixing palette to create similar colors to the ones that Bob was using."

This is seriously impressive — and Twitter knows it. Their reactions were enthusiastic, to say the least.

LOL.

This is so fitting.

It really is magical.

My reaction exactly.

Some people are even expressing their gratitude for the artwork.

Amazing.

The work has obviously had a huge effect.

Others are just really excited.

I can literally hear the screaming.

Here's to hoping we see more jaw-dropping eyelid art from Jenny Srimuang soon — and if they want to do more Ross-inspired happy little bushes, so be it.
