Just as you'd pour Prosecco into a champagne flute, Becca Cosmetics poured Prosecco Pop illuminators into their compacts — and the process is mesmerizing. A shimmery gold hue, the highlighter is a second product in the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Collaboration that has a massive cult following.
For those of you that are not familiar with the makeup guru, Hill is a makeup artist and YouTube beauty vlogger that launched a limited edition makeup line with Becca, offering followers and fans an intense glow. The first one was called Champagne Pop, which was more of a rose gold hue, and the pressed powder offered an amazing, wet look that gave just the right amount of dewiness and light. Seeing how the hype has nowhere near died down for the compact, it's no wonder that she expanded to a different shade.
The Becca Shimmering Crème Highlighter in Prosecco Pop is an amazing metallic gold hue, and lucky for us, they're now permanently part of the brand's collection of highlighter shades. And if you have a preferred makeup texture that you like to work with, the product is available in two different formulas: Liquid and creme.
To jazz up their fans even more about this news, Becca's Instagram posted a video of pouring the molten gold formula into their compact containers, and the footage is mesmerizing.
The one they featured is the "Poured Crème" formula, and it looks like melted, gleaming metal is being poured into makeup containers, giving you the feeling you're dusting real gold onto your cheeks. According to their caption, that particular formula is great for travel and on-the-glow applications, which makes sense since you won't have to deal with messy liquids.
"It looks just like molten metal during the production process, so you just know that Prosecco Pop will positively glow on your cheekbones," PopSugar reported. Watching the liquid gilt mix with the gleaming white of the highlighter definitely hits home how much shine the product will give you. All you'll need is a casual dusting along your cheekbones and on the tip of your nose, and your face will glow like it's been lit from within.
