Get ready, because Nike is stepping up their athletic-wear game. The brand just released their first-ever plus size workout collection, and it's hopefully just the start of something special. If you're wondering what's in Nike's plus size athletic line, you'll be happy to know that it covers all the basics. The collection might not have groundbreaking silhouettes or prints, but that's part of what makes it awesome — it covers all the staples and shows that Nike is on their way to creating one heck of a line.

All collections have to start somewhere, and the brand decided to kick things off with a 44-piece range full of tops, leggings, shorts, sports bras, and jackets. As of March 3, every item is in stock and currently available on the Nike website. Bustle has reached out to the brand to see if they will be selling the collection in-stores as well.

No matter which item your looking for, you have a few different color and style options. As of right now, the line offers sizes 1X to 3X in all the items. According to a press release about the range, “Nike’s product range will continue to expand to ensure there is a perfect fit for every athlete," although the brand has yet to comment on if or when they will offer more size varieties.

Like I said before, this prints and silhouettes are pretty standard, but it's a great way for them to start out. There are classic Nike tees, athleisure jackets that can go from the gym to the streets, and plenty of workout attire as well. There are even some trendy mesh cut-out pieces as well.

The workout leggings really stand out. They come in bold prints and loud colors that really pop among the more minimalistic pieces.

There's a great variety of pieces to start out with, and hopefully the line will only continue to expand.
