Stop what you're doing and get your wallets ready. More Fenty is coming. According to an Instagram post by the brand, Fenty Beauty created 14 Mattemoiselle solid lipsticks — and they're coming soon. No matter which lip hue you're into, there's a good chance that there's something for you.
Just because it's the end of the year doesn't mean that Fenty Beauty is slowing down. The brand, created by Rihanna and Kendo, has had one heck of a year so far. The launch heard 'round the beauty world started with a whopping 40 shades of foundation and continued with a super shimmery holiday launch. Now the brand is onto lipsticks, and it's continuing the wide shade range trend.
The 14 matte solid lipsticks will be available on Dec. 26, according to the brand's Instagram post. As in, like, the day after Christmas. You can take all of that well-earned holiday cash and immediately put it to good use.
Just like the launch of Fenty Beauty, the products will be available at Sephora, Harvey Nichols, and Sephora in JC Penney. The stores open at 9am, which means you should probably be standing there waiting.
Up until this announcement, there were three options for Fenty Beauty lip products. The very first launch brought one shade of universal gloss. After that came a classic red liquid lipstick that had fans thinking that a range would be coming next. Instead, Rihanna launched two metallic solid lipsticks as a part of the holiday collection.
Instead of building on one of the other formulas, Rihanna has decided to roll out the mattes. Called Mattemoiselle, the 14 shades span from blues and purples to wearable reds and pinks. Because you didn't think the star would doing anything conventional, did you?
As of Dec. 12, there is no word on how much the lipsticks will be. The Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick, which is similarly shaped to the Mattemoiselle Lipsticks are being sold right now on Sephora for $19. There's a good chance that the new formula will be the same or similar. Bustle reached out to the brand for comment.
It's safe to say that the addition of the solid lipsticks shows the brand is seriously taking on all aspects of the beauty industry. Anyone can come up with a trendy item, but not just any brand can stick with it alongside of the classics. Fenty Beauty isn't going anywhere. In fact, it might just be ahead of its time.
The Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle launch proves that the brand doesn't do anything without thinking about their customers. Instead of coming out with a handful of shade, they dug into the barrel and gave them handfuls on handfuls. Whether you're looking for something wearable or going bold, this brand has you covered.
Bottom line: You won't want to miss out on this launch. Unlike the holiday collection, these shade are not limited edition, so you have plenty of time to save up — no matter what the price may be.
If you want to be one of the first ones to test them out, you'll want to wake up bright and early the day after the Christmas holiday. There's a good chance that these will sell out just as quick as the foundations, despite the wide range of shades.
