It looks like E! News red carpet superstars Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic aren't at the Billboard Music Awards for the second year in a row. This is a travesty, people. If you are wondering where Seacrest and Rancic are during the 2017 Billboard Awards, it seems the duo's busy schedules kept them away once again. In their place are fellow super hosts Jason Kennedy, Sibley Scoles, and Erin Lim.
Given Seacrest's new gig as co-host of Live with Kelly and Ryan (which is based in New York City), it's not surprising that he didn't make it to the Billboard Awards' magenta carpet. The super busy star spent the day prior to the show supporting NBC's Shades of Blue on his social media sites. He's a producer on the Jennifer Lopez series, and from his tweets, it's clear he's proud of the Season 2 finale.
As for Rancic, she may have opted to spend the weekend with her husband, Bill, who had a birthday earlier this week. Never fear though, Rancic fans, the host with the most will be on-hand for Fashion Police: The 2017 Billboard Music Awards airing Monday at 8 p.m. on E!. The fearless commentator is sure to have plenty to say about the daring and surprising outfits you will see stars sporting on the red carpet.
While it is a bummer that Seacrest and Rancic are missing out on the Billboard Music Awards fun again this year, these two busy talents deserve to take breaks where they can get them. And hey, maybe it's even time for them to pass the Billboard Awards' torch to a new generation of hosts. It's not like they don't have plenty of gigs to keep them busy.
