The Reason Rob Kardashian Is Posting About Blac Chyna

The festivities for July 4 might be over, but, on Wednesday, there were fireworks all over Instagram — and not the good kind. Why Rob Kardashian is posting about Blac Chyna might not be much of a mystery to those closely following the disturbing drama, but it still warrants some examination. In a series of posts that include text messages, videos, and even nude photos that reportedly come from, and appear to be of, Chyna, Kardashian made several unsavory claims against her and said, "more receipts are coming."

Starting the series of posts was a video that Chyna reportedly sent to Kardashian, which appeared to show her kissing an unidentified man. In the caption, Kardashian claimed, “Hahahaha Chyna just sent me this video saying happy 4th of July what a crazy person. Come spend time with your daughter instead of f*cking me and then this dude right after. U need help.” The post seems to insinuate that Chyna and Kardashian were back together as a couple, and that the Instagram posts may have been made in retaliation to her reported cheating.

However, looking at the rest of Kardashian’s posts as well as some made by Chyna in response to them, it’s apparent that the potential reasoning for the Instagram outburst is far more complex than simply revenge on an unfaithful lover. Bustle has reached out to reps for Chyna and Kardashian for comment on the claims, but has not yet received a response.

In one post, Kardashian claimed that Chyna was allegedly abusing drugs (“U will never see Dream again unless you stop the alcohol and drugs and cocaine and X and E”), while also stating his frustrations at being “disrespected” by her while he reportedly funds her lifestyle. While Kardashian was sharing these posts, however, Chyna was accusing him of alleged abuse on Snapchat. In a text only Snap, she claimed, “Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try act it never happen !!!!! U put hand on me I swear on god !!!!! On my kids but I'm supposd to be quiet because you're a Kardashian.”

While some initial nude pictures reportedly of Chyna were posted to Kardashian's account, they have since been removed. Whether or not these images were removed by Instagram, or by Kardashian, is unknown.

Though it could be assumed that the video that Chyna reportedly sent to Kardashian may have been the final test of his patience, the posts on both sides make some very serious allegations towards one another, allegations that go far beyond addressing the average problems of a romantic relationship that simply isn’t working.

Sadly, their incredibly candid relationship has been fraught with complications, and this has also not been the first public dispute between the two. In December 2016, for example, there was an alleged hacking of Chyna’s Instagram account that revealed some reported screenshots of negative text messages about Kardashian by her. That same day, Kardashian shared videos on Snapchat and Instagram suggesting that Chyna had left him, which resulted in an extended fight on social media. Their problems were also evident during their reality show Rob & Chyna, in which their relationship often took turbulent turns.

While there’s no way to officially pin down the main reasoning as to why Kardashian may be posting about Chyna, or precisely what drama has and hasn’t happened between the two, what is obvious is that the couple need to do what's best for them as individuals and as parents for baby Dream.
