Heather Could Still Pop Up On 'RHOC' This Season

If you’re a hardcore Real Housewives fan like I am, you know that no one and no storyline is ever truly dead and gone on the show. The franchise talked about Luann and Tom’s marriage on The Real Housewives Of New York for two whole seasons and is still on the topic of Brooks and his fake cancer on The Real Housewives Of Orange County. Botox fades, pinot spills, and the circle of life starts again. That’s why I’m not too concerned as to whether or not Heather Dubrow will cameo on RHOC again.

Heather announced in January that Season 11 of RHOC would be her last. In a statement on her podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World, she said, "After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past five years have been an incredible journey and I'm so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture… I have decided to go in another direction and do what’s best for my family and career. Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open."

I’ll miss Heather and her one-liners, but I get it — it’s time to move on. That’s what people do. Right now, Heather is still working on her podcast and is teaming up with her husband, Botched star and plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, for another podcast called Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig. She also hosts a web series called Heather’s Closet in which she interviews people… in her closet (self-explanatory).

Heather may be busier than ever with the jobs and that big house and her four children, but I’m not going to rule out a quick appearance on Real Housewives Of Orange County, and the proof, for me, is in her statement. Heather said that “the door is always open,” and since Heather is still buds with some of the women on the show (especially Meghan King Edmonds), I’m sure she’ll be seen at dinner parties and white parties and whatever other themes Bravo’s producers come up with.

Many housewives before her have popped in for a party or two — Jeana Keough, Lauri Peterson, Lydia McLaughlin, Peggy Tanous, Tammy Knickerbocker, Quinn Fry, and Gretchen Rossi have left the show only to return and maybe get a drink thrown in her face. Has Heather confirmed that she’ll cameo on Real Housewives Of Orange County? No. But from where I sit, it’s only a matter of time.
