Jennifer Lawrence’s Golden Globes Dress Was Her Nakedest Of All Time
JLaw, is that really you?

Jennifer Lawrence’s entrance at the 2026 Golden Globes was an entire production — and rightly so. She rolled up to the annual awards show’s red carpet wearing a floral-embroidered jacket, which she later pulled down to reveal the nakedest “naked dress,” practically cementing the risqué style’s continued dominance this year.
J.Law’s Romantic “Naked Dress”
The Hunger Games star has long made headlines for her awards show style. During her earlier ballgown years, some of her billowing ensembles even caused her to trip on her way to the stage. Since then, however, the actor has retired her more princess-esque looks, wading into more minimalist, understated territory.
Not at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, however, where the actor — nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for her work in Die My Love — walked the red carpet in a gown befitting the seven-time nominee and three-time winner.
Decked out in Givenchy, Lawrence wore a slinky, skin-matching slip dress that was practically translucent, save for decadent pink-and-green flowers strategically embroidered throughout. Aside from the sheer fabrication, the gown also featured two waist cutouts that further upped the look’s spicy ante.
Her Peekaboo G-String
Lawrence further committed to the saucy bit, allowing her dress to put her teeny beige G-string on display.
For a full garden-themed extravaganza, she completed the look with a matching botanical-embroidered clutch and added a diamond necklace for extra sparkle.
As for her glam, she kept it low-key and styled it down, with her bangs front and center.
A Blast From The Past
The last time the Mother actor wore a risqué dress on the Golden Globes carpet was exactly 10 years ago, when she attended the event in a red-hot gown by Dior, also marked by cutouts on each side of her torso. It was also the last time she won an award at the event (for her performance in Joy).
Perhaps the sartorial callback is superstitious in nature, a sort of good luck rite. It’s clearly working, though, because Lawrence already wins best dressed.
