It's been about three weeks since it was announced that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick broke up. When the news came out, many shippers of the couple and fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians were devastated to hear that these two were over and, seemingly, for good this time. I know, I know, I'm probably rubbing salt in what are still fresh wounds, but it needs to be discussed, especially since Khloé Kardashian discussed Scott's love for Kourtney and how much he's grown as a person in an interview with Complex magazine. To be clear, Khloé's comments about Scott were made before his split with Kourtney.
It's no secret that Khloé and Scott are good friends (at least they were before the big breakup), which has been showcased repeatedly on their E! reality series. Heck, there have even been rumors that they're a couple. Anyways, to hear the 31-year-old reality starlet open up about Scott in a positive way isn't surprising. She told Complex, "We’re the best of friends. But what’s crazy is how much I hated him before. Overall I love his progression and growth."
She's right, Scott has grown since his debut on KUWTK. Let's face it, a lot of times he is the best Kardashian. Unfortunately, he still appears to be partying, but is seemingly trying to better himself. As he told reporters on July 24 about his split from Kourtney, "[I’m] just taking it one day at a time. With everything going on right now, I need to be positive for myself." Has Scott ever sounded so mature and like an adult?
Say what you want about him, but I've never doubted he loved (and probably still loves) Kourtney and, of course, their three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. Khloé agrees with me, as she told Complex, "You can’t deny how much he loves Kourtney. And I do think he tries. We’re very much involved in each other’s lives."
Even though Khloé said all these really nice comments about Scott before he partied ways with her sister, I'm sure she probably stands by what she said. So... this means that Kourtney and Scott will reunite soon, right? If they love each other as much as it sounds like, maybe they can work through all their issues and find their way back to one another. Now that would be a Kardashian miracle.
