What Will Happen With Meg & James On 'BB17'?

You know how they say that opposites attract? Well, I can’t think of two more opposite houseguests in the Big Brother house than Meg and James. And yet, somehow, they have formed one of the tightest friendships in the house. Always in the same alliances and always making similar game moves, Meg and James are an unlikely pairing, but somehow they’ve found each other out of everyone in the house. But, will Meg and James make a showmance happen? It's a valid thing to wonder: After all, tou know what they say about the Big Brother house — expect the unexpected.

James and Meg starting a showmance would definitely be the unexpected thing to happen in the house. After all, they couldn’t be farther from each other, personally and geographically: With Meg being from New York City and James being from backwoods Texas — at least, that is what his camo suggests — the two couldn’t be less alike in how they dress, act, and talk. But, hey, opposites attract, right?

If I had a guess, I would say it will probably be the other things that will prevent them from taking their friendship to the next level. Like, the fact that they are being filmed for 24 hours a day. And the fact that $500,000 is on the line.

And then there’s the whole thing about how different their lifestyles are: James has a daughter back home, and Meg is a single gal living in the city. I just don’t see the two of them making it far in the real world. I mean, I'm not saying that this would prevent them from letting sparks fly in the Big Brother house, I just think it’s super unlikely that their relationship would progress into a full-blown showmance. Sorry, guys!
