How Many People Are Searching For Zombie Sex?

If you’re going to get into the spookiness that is Halloween, then you might as well get your spooky on in all corners of your life. Don’t just dress up in your scariest, but go looking for some Halloween porn searches, too. You can’t really enjoy Halloween if you’re not online scouring it for a woman dressed as a devil to tame and dominate you, can you? I mean, it is only appropriate.

Because they had noticed a pattern with other holidays ― even during Easter ― Pornhub joined forces with Mic.com to analyze how Halloween affects the searches of porn-viewers. What they found was that, yes, Halloween absolutely does come into play with people who are looking for things to get them off, as do costumes and trick-or-treating. Not only do the searches for Halloween-themed things jump during the days leading up to Halloween, but they spike like holy hell and beyond once it's officially Halloween.

Based on last year’s data, searches for the word “Halloween” alone spiked by 2245 percent, with searches for “Halloween costume” and “trick or treat” also seeing major jumps, at 1785 percent and 1477 percent, respectively. But that’s just the beginning of all the spooky fun.

Here are six other statistics from the Pornhub and Mic.com research:

1. People Prefer Scary To Cute

Although searches for “schoolgirl” increased by 267 percent, what people really want around Halloween is scary porn, so much so that the word “scary” spiked by 603 percent. Other similar words that also saw a jump in searches are “devil” by 864 percent and “vampire” by 743 percent.

2. Zombie Porn Is A Thing

For those who just can't get enough with devils and vampires, there are, of course, zombies, because who doesn't love zombies? Searches for “zombie” went up by 460 percent, which made me wonder, is zombie porn really a thing? Yes, it is and it’s just how you might picture it: Women being chased at night by zombie men looking for sex.

3. Halloween Parties Are More Interesting Than Halloween Orgies

Since it’s porn, you’d think that anything relating to an orgy might get more action than just a party, but not on Halloween. As the research found, searches for “Halloween party” increased by 1313 percent, while searches for “Halloween orgy,” spiked by 1072 percent. Perhaps a party leaves more to the imagination, since you pretty much know what you're getting when you walk into an orgy.

4. People Start Their Halloween Searches 10 Days Before The Big Day

As if in preparation for the spookiness to come, the word “Halloween” starts getting traction around Oct. 21. It slowly chugs along, before shooting way up by Oct. 29, then starting to fall again on the first of November. By the time Nov. 6 rolls around, “Halloween” searches are back down to their usual amount.

5. Searches For ‘Trick Or Treat’ Surge Again A Week After Halloween

Whether it’s because porn viewers want to hold on to that magical feeling a little bit longer, or they want to go for one more round before Thanksgiving fever kicks in, but after Oct. 31, where “trick or treat” peaks in searches, it falls back down before having a bit of a jump again on November. Why? The research didn’t say. But I’m betting my money on the one last spooky video before searches for “tryptophan” become all the rage.

6. Monsters Are More Popular than Cheerleaders

In keeping with the theme of people preferring scary over cutesy, according to the research, people search more for “monsters” than even “cheerleaders” around Halloween. Although they’re close in percentages, “monster” still has an increase of 169 percent over that of “cheerleader” at 162 percent. Which, if we think about it, makes sense ― cheerleaders and schoolgirls are big searches the rest of the year, so let the monsters have some fun.
