You Can Now Give The Gift Of Porn This Christmas

by Laken Howard

It's officially December, which means we're probably all panicking because we procrastinated gift shopping and Christmas is now around the corner. If you're trying to find the perfect stocking stuffer for that special someone but have no idea where to start, an unexpected source is here to help: Pornhub's Premium Gifting Service just launched, so you can give the gift of masturbation fodder to all your loved ones.

In essence, the idea is that you'll purchase a "gift card" of sorts that gives the recipient a subscription to Pornhub Premium, a "higher class" porn experience that offers quality, ad-free porn in HD. Sure, this gift idea might seem a little out of left field, but Pornhub Premium has actually been really popular: A press release stated that they've had over 500,000 signups since it launched in August. The Premium Gifting Service allows you to customize the gift card, loading it up for as many months as you see fit — all the way from one month for $9.99 to one year for $119.99 — and you can even choose from a number of designs for the card.

“With the holidays upon us, we wanted to provide our community with the opportunity to give the most touching gift of all to their loved ones. In a business where size really does matter, we have seen tremendous growth in Premium activations since launch,” said Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub, in a press release. “We thought that sharing joy with family and friends in the form of a Premium Gift Card would make for the perfect stocking stuffer and is sure to bring lots of holiday cheer.”

Maybe not the best gift to give to your boss, but if there's someone in your life that you feel super comfortable with, this doesn't seem like a half-bad gift, IMHO. As if masturbation wasn't fun enough, watching porn might actually be good for you (and remember that it's not just men that enjoy some quality porn).

If you're not convinced that giving the gift of porn is for you, but you still want to give a ~sexy~ present to someone, here are four other options to consider this holiday shopping season.

1. Vibrator

A vibrator is basically the gift that keeps on giving...orgasms. I don't know about you, but I'm of the opinion that one can never have too many vibrators (they're all so different!). If your S.O. is a woman, there are plenty of options for amazing vibes that stimulate the clit, G-spot, and everything in between. If your S.O. is a man, he won't be left out either: There are tons of great male sex toys on the market these days. Hell, if you really want to, treat yo'self and just buy a vibrator for your own pleasure — there are no rules on Christmas.

2. Lingerie

This gift is a win because it's equal parts ~romantic~ and sexy. If your partner likes the finer things in life, it might be time to buy your S.O. some gorgeous lingerie this holiday. Better yet, the two of you could go together to pick something out that turns you both on (plus it eliminates the risk of you buying something that doesn't fit your partner properly). Or even better: Buy yourself some damn lingerie, because you don't need a significant other to feel sexy.

3. Couple's Kit

What's better than just one sex toy? A whole kit full of goodies to spice up your sex life. Adam & Eve offers a range of sex toy kits that include samplings of toys so you and your partner can find what works best for the two of you. You can also purchase a couple's toy designed to satisfy both partners during sex, like the We-Vibe 4 Plus. There are also kits like the Honeymoon In A Box that include fun extras like cock rings and dirty dice to really spice things up in the bedroom, or the Striptease Kit if you're both feeling extra frisky. The only downside? Giving a couple's toy or kit as a gift is kind of cheating, because it's not exactly selfless — you'll both definitely enjoy it equally.

4. Massage Package

After the stress of surviving another holiday season, I doubt there's a single person on earth who wouldn't appreciate a nice professional massage (happy ending not included). It might not feel as "personal" to give someone a gift card to get a massage, but if you include it in a basket with other sensual items (i.e. lube, a sex toy, candles), it's a thoughtful gift for someone who is often stressed but doesn't take any "me time" to relax. Or if you're really good at massages, just give your S.O. one yourself in addition to a gift — it will be much appreciated after a long day of overeating and arguing with third cousins.
