9 Korean Beauty Stocking Stuffers Under $15

by Maxine Builder

Beauty products are reliably good ideas for stocking stuffers. They're cute, compact, and can be totally appropriate gifts for everyone in your life, from your mom to your boss. They also don't have to be expensive to be appreciated, adorable, or feel indulgent. So if you've been stuck on what to take to the office White Elephant or Secret Santa gift swap or stuff into your little sister's stocking, look no further than these Korean beauty stocking stuffers under $15.

Though I like to say that I primarily use Korean beauty products because they work wonders for my skin, I'm also a sucker for adorable branding. And if there's one thing K-beauty has going for it, it's definitely the carefully considered, present-worthy packaging. From hand creams that come in bottles shaped like fruit or desserts to patterned sheet masks that make you look like a tiger, these whimsical, eye-catching products are almost guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of the grumpiest of Scrooges. Plus, even if 2015 was arguably a breakthrough year for Korean beauty products, they're still uncommon enough that you'll likely be giving your loved one something that they've never seen before or don't already own.

So if you're looking for a cheap and easy gift that won't disappoint even the pickiest of beauty aficionados, here are nine totally adorable and entirely affordable K-beauty products that will brighten up any holiday and are sure to please nearly everyone on your list.

1. Dessert-Inspired Lip Tint

Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint in #03 Grapefruit Pudding, $10.40, EtudeHouse.com

Etude House's packaging is adorable, and its holiday collection won't disappoint the sweet-toothed beauty guru in your life. This year's theme is Snowy Dessert, and the dessert pudding tints come in a variety of sweet holiday-inspired flavors, from apple to lychee.

2. Cartoon Lip Tint Crayon

Club Clio Peripera Peri's Tint Crayon, $14, ClubClioUSA.com

If you're looking for a beauty stocking stuffer with a bit more bite (but without losing any of the adorable packaging) then these tinted lip crayons from Club Clio will do the trick.

3. Tangerine Hand Cream

TONYMOLY Tangerine Whitening Hand Cream, $12, PeachAndLily.com

This tangerine-scented hand cream from TONYMOLY, which comes in a surprisingly realistic citrus package, is a whimsical twist on the Christmas tradition of putting an orange in someone's stocking.

4. Chocopie Hand Cream

The Saem Chocopie Hand Cream in Marshmallow, $10, Memebox.com

Chocolate is another one of those treats that's always a joy to find in your Christmas stocking, so it stands to reason that a chocolate-scented hand cream would also be a big hit. Chocopies are a common treat in Korea that are pretty similar to American moon pies: Marshmallow sandwiched between vanilla cakes and covered in chocolate. AKA heaven.

5. Macaron Lip Balm

It's Skin Macaron Lip Balm in Strawberry Flavor, $6.34, Amazon.com

If you like this kind of adorable trompe l'oeil packaging, you'll love this macaron lip balm from It's Skin. If strawberry isn't your jam, this lip balm comes in a variety of flavors, from grape to chocolate.

6. Black Sugar Face Mask

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off, $14.70, SokoGlam.com

Korean beauty products don't have to come in packages that look like food to be totally sweet stocking stuffers, as this black sugar mask from Skinfood proves. From my experiences, you should exfoliate once a week with this mask for glowing skin.

7. Citrus Rubber Mask

Lindsay Modeling Rubber Mask in Hanra Citrus (Limited Edition), $6, GlowRecipe.com

Surprise the beauty guru in your life with one of this year's breakthrough K-beauty products: A rubber mask. This one has a limited edition citrus scent that's perfect for the holidays and will fit snugly in a stocking without breaking the bank.

8. Secret Garden Sheet Mask Set

Sally's Box Secret Garden Ampoule Masks Set, $15, SokoGlam.com

Sheet masks are an ideal gift for White Elephant or Secret Santa exchanges, and they're probably the most obvious K-beauty stocking stuffer. You can always get a bunch of them individually and make your own customized pack. But if you're feeling a little lazy, you can just get a mask set like this one from Sally's Box that's still totally adorable.

9. Puppy Sheet Mask

Berrisom Dog Mask, $3, Memebox.com

All I ever wanted for Christmas when I was growing up was a pup, but my parents never gave in. So if you're like me and can't actually get a puppy for Christmas, at least you can look like a puppy on Christmas morning with this sheet mask from Berrisom. The hyaluronic acid will deeply moisturize dry skin, and the puppy face will make for a great selfie in front of the tree.

With these products in your stocking stuffing arsenal, you'll be sure to wow any friends or family.
