Olivier Rousteing Brings Balmain To Kim K.'s App

by Marc Cuenco

Aside from her family members, it takes a very special person to make it on Kim Kardashian's popular mobile app. Considering how close the two of them are, Olivier Rousteing joined the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game as one of the characters. The app will now feature an animated version of the French designer, right down to his fierce jawline and cheekbones, as well as 30 fabulous runway looks from Balmain's fall 2015 collection. Last October, Rousteing told CNN Style why he considers Kardashian a muse.

"She's my friend, she's a woman that I love for different reasons," Rousteing said. "First, I think she's powerful. She's representing the new world and she represents the new family: Kim, Kanye, North. I also think she's pushing boundaries when it comes to the female form. I love dressing her, she's a different body type to the models on my catwalk — she's part of my world."

Ever since it launched last year, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has turned into one of the most profitable apps in history, thanks to the popularity of the Kardashian-Jenner family brand and the game's interactive, pop-culture-themed platform. The experience of playing Kardashian's game puts the player at the center of her lavish world filled with designer clothes, A-list parties, and celebrity friends. Including designer-of-the-moment and family friend Rousteing in the game enhances the experience of "living" like Kardashian even more.

Of course, the #BalmainArmy also appear in the game alongside Rousteing and Kardashian:

The Balmain designer is not the only stylish figure in the popular app. Here are other notable characters in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood from the fashion world:

Karl Lagerfeld

The Godfather of chic French fashion, Karl Lagerfeld, joined Kardashian's game last month.

Anna Dello Russo

The influential editor has also been animated for the mobile app.

Jen Atkin & Mario Dedivanovic

Kardashian's "Glam Squad," made up of hair stylist Jen Atkin and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, are characters in her Hollywood game.
