If there is one universal truth, it is that Christmas movies are typically not very good, but that doesn't mean it should stop you from watching Christmas movies like the ones on Hulu. Now, before you kill the messenger, think about all those weird, made-for-television Christmas movies that get played over and over once Thanksgiving is over. I mean, really, how many Christmas movies starring B-list actors or '90s teen sensations do we really need? That's not to say Christmas movies are all bad. Even if they're tired and contrived, if they're charming, they can bring Christmas joy to any viewer. (I myself am partial to the ABC Family Christmas Movies.) So, it's no surprise that people are turning to online streaming to get their holiday movie fix, and, while most enjoy a nice Netflix night in, now is a good time not to forget about your old friend, Hulu. (Hulu, once known as the free streaming service, now known for having three tiers of subscribers, including one subscription with zero commercials and Showtime.)

Dolly Parton plays a country singer who dies and is sent back down to earth to perform good deeds before she can get into heaven in Unlikely Angel. Yep, a Dolly Parton Christmas movie — has anything ever felt so right?
4. The Road To Christmas
This Lifetime Christmas movie stars real life couple, Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing) and Clark Gregg (Agents of SHIELD), which is basically all you need to know. And, for all you Agent Coulson fans out there, the movie features Gregg sporting some pretty sexy scruff.
5. Dear Santa
In this made for TV movie, Amy Acker plays a spoiled young woman who starts to turn her life around after she finds a letter to Santa written by a young girl who wants Santa to bring her dad a new wife. Sure, the plot isn't particularly inventive, but if anyone can turn it around, it's Acker. Fun fact: this movie was directed by Beverly Hills 90210 heartthrob Jason Priestly!
6. Christmas Fireplace
OK, so this isn't a Christmas movie so much as a Christmas video backdrop. Yep, Hulu has their very own, 60-minute long Yule Log fire video, complete with Christmas carols played on the piano in the background! Perfect for the Christmas party you were planning to host in your tiny apartment.
7. A Snow Globe Christmas
A TV producer knocks her head on a snow globe and wakes up living in a perfect Christmas fantasy village, married to Donald Faison and living in a sweet little cottage. Oh, to believe in the magic of Christmas...
