11 Times Lupita Nyong'o Wowed Us In Bright Colors

Just about anyone can slip on a little black dress and look fabulous, but the ladies who can make a statement with bold prints and colors are the real style queens. Lupita Nyong'o wore a bright yellow dress to Live! With Michael and Kelly, and somehow managed to make it look completely casual. She's got a knack for pulling off bright patterns and hues, so you might just want to start taking notes.

When Nyong'o's not twirling down staircases or looking fabulous in cover shots, the Star Wars actress is adding some serious brightness everywhere she goes. Combining edgy and sweet vibes for one fierce outfit, she showed up at the New York-based talk show in a lemon hued dress underneath a cropped leather jacket. The form-fitting look, which was the loveliest shade of bright yellow that I've ever seen, will surely make you a bold-color believer, if you're not already.

Although the v-necked dress provided enough color all on it's own, Nyong'o didn't stop there. She added a bit more brightness to the look with a pair of $945 Louboutin heels that put the finishing touch on the already stunning ensemble. If this is any indication of how the rest of her Star Wars media tour will be, I can't wait to see what's in store.

The neckline is absolutely stunning on the actress, and she sure does stand out.
