Celebs Definitely Regret These '90s Outfits

by Augusta Statz

I have a love-hate relationship with the ‘90s because while some of the styles are popular again (and for good reason) some trends should stay in the past, you know? Here are 11 '90s outfits celebs wouldn’t be caught dead in because I’m pretty sure these ensembles fall on the hate end of the love-hate spectrum. But, you can’t blame them for wearing the trends of the time. They really didn’t know any better, and we’ve all had a cringe-worthy ‘90s moment or two in our lifetime, now, haven’t we? I’ve had more than I’d like to admit.

Paris Hilton, Sarah Jessica Parker and more hit the red carpet in looks that we adored during the decade. But, they’re definitely looks that we have come to loathe, nowadays. Feathers, sequins and zebra print are just a few of the things people adorned themselves with back then. Sounds about right, huh? But, I can honestly say — those items definitely aren’t worn the same way now (if they’re worn at all).

Get ready for a blast from the past as you scroll through these totally ‘90s looks. May these trends rest in peace (if they aren't already burned into our not-so-fond memories). Because I, for one, honestly hope we never see them again.

This dress slightly resembles a dress a skater might wear, and I don't really think she'd wear a look like this again.

2. Angelina Jolie

Her style is much more sleek and sexy now, so I don't think we'll be seeing her in a boxy silhouette with a floral print anytime soon.

3. Paris Hilton

It may have been popular then, but would Hilton be seen in zebra print now? I highly doubt it.

4. Jennifer Lopez

An sweater dress with furry accents doesn't exactly scream modern day J. Lo to me.

5. Britney Spears

Yeah, I don't think she'd wear snake print pants. Ever again.

6. Jennifer Aniston

I can't picture her in a hat, especially not one like this.

7. Christina Aguilera

Something tells me she wouldn't wear an all-over leopard ensemble quite like this again.

8. Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen

These ladies still love longer dresses, but maybe not quite like these.

9. Kate Winslet

She doesn't seem like the type to wear a 2016 version of a "naked dress."

10. Selma Hayek

A furry belly-exposing sweater isn't something I'd picture this classy lady in, at least not now that it's, you know, 2016.

11. Jessica Simpson

She's hot and all, but I don't think she'd be caught with flames on her clothing anymore.

I'm pretty sure these celebs feel the same way I do about these outfits — good riddance!
