Who Will Return To 'American Horror Story' Season 6? It's Going To Be Filled With Stars

Even though it's only the finale of Season 5 of American Horror Story, true fans are already mentally prepping for the next season. As you should. We don't know much about Season 6 of American Horror Story , but that's not new for the top secret series. That also doesn't mean we're not thinking what the season will be about. Or wondering if all of our favorite cast members will return for Season 6 of AHS . Little by little, the future will be revealed, in drips and drabs as Ryan Murphy tends to do (it's all about the anticipation). But, we can already start guessing who will return for another chapter of the anthology series thanks to some hints from cast members.

Season 5 was the first season without the fan-favorite Jessica Lange, and somehow we made it out alive. Call me optomistic, but I'm still rooting for a Jessica Lange return, and what better time to return then for Lucky Season 6? (Just go with it.)

Lange is just one star that has hinted at possibly returning to the series. While some stars haven't spoken about returning just yet, there's no reason to worry if they're not on this list. Certain actors reveal their return to the show in more dramatic ways than others. As of now, here's who we can expect to return to Season 6.

Lady Gaga

Gaga has officially been asked to return to the series, per Ryan Murphy. Personally, I don't know how you can deny such a public request. And now that Lady Gaga has won a Golden Globe for her role on the show, it would be especially hard to turn down another role in the series.

Jessica Lange

Although it's a long shot, Jessica Lange suggested she might return to the show in the future... if the role was right. Lange told The Wrap, “If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?’ I would absolutely say yes if I liked it." Sounds more promising than her "I'm done," after Season 4, right?

Emma Roberts

Missed Emma Roberts on this season of AHS? You're not alone. The good news is that she'll probably be back for Season 6. Roberts told Yahoo that since she couldn't be in Season 5, she and Ryan Murphy will "do something amazing and devilish" next season.

Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett is set to return for Season 6, as well. Ryan Murphy recently spoiled the news at the Golden Globes by revealing he has already told Bassett what her role in Season 6 would be.

Sarah Paulson & Cate Blanchett

According to Vulture, Oscar winner Cate Blachett would be up for a cameo in AHS if that meant she was able to work with her Carol co-star Sarah Paulson again. This sounds like an A-OK deal to me, how about you Ryan Murphy?

Chloe Sevigny

Although she didn't confirm she'd be returning to the show, Sevigny did tell Variety what type of character she'd like to play in the future season. "I think I’d maybe like to play more of a villain,” she said. That's right, think it into existence.

Evan Peters

Evan Peters also spoke on what type of character he'd like to play in Season 6, saying, "maybe some kind of handicapped [character] or something,” which sounds like he's already thinking about returning to the show.

So, while we still need to wait until characters are revealed for Season 6, these cast comments are pretty promising for the future.
