That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based Astrologer to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our love lives each week. This week's topic: what Pisces love in bed.
I know what you’re probably thinking. Libra, right? If so, you wouldn't be wrong, as Libra is the zodiac sign in charge of marriage and relationships. Yes, anyone who's ever been charmed by one *raises hand*, can tell you that Libras are the kings and queens of amore. Cosmically speaking, they are after all ruled by Venus; a planet named after the mythological Goddess of Love. Though if we’re talking about love or more specifically, romantic feelings—especially in the bedroom— then I have to count Pisces in as a major contender for The Most Romantic. Here’s why:
TheFreeDictionary.com defines romance as an “ardent emotional attachment or involvement between people.” As a Water sign, Pisces live through their emotions. If we're talking about what makes for great romance, then how we feel when we're in one is pretty important, as we humans usually rank people and experiences by the emotions they bring up for us. The deeper the emotion, the stronger the impact. Pisces is acutely aware of this fact.
This is why some people consider dealing with a Pisces to be a bit of a mindf*ck, because they can intuit a person's soft spots and know exactly how to work them. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves here, let's look at a few more reasons why a Pisces is the one you'll want in the bedroom.
1. They Love…Love
Pisces is one of the few signs in the zodiac who need romance like the rest of us need air. Dreamy and sensitive, Pisces crave connections at the soul level. Even if they plan to stick around for a few hours or a few years, they want to feel deeply bonded to a lover. This means you'll never have to worry about feeling used or treated poorly with a Pisces. They'd rather be busy counting the stars in your eyes than be a jerk.
2. They Remember Details
Tell a Pisces that one of your favorite memories is the time you won the spelling bee in third grade and they’ll show up at your door with an award ribbon and flowers in hand. Nothing fancy, but something small and detailed enough that shows you how thoughtful and creative they can be. In that moment, a Pisces wants you to feel like you’re the only person that exists to them. No distractions, no rushing through.
4. They Set The Mood
For Pisces, romance is a heady combo of tenderness, vulnerability, and Hollywood. Yes, Hollywood. Remember your favorite movies? Remember your favorite scenes and how you felt when you first saw them? Pisces remembers. An idealist at heart, this is the sign that lives for fantasy and the emotional thrill that fantasy stirs up. Besides, the real world is much too cold and harsh. What’s your fantasy? A man or woman in uniform? A school teacher? A romp on the beach? To be swept off your feet by a seductive stranger? Tell your Pisces and prepare to be taken to another realm.
5. They Keep It Private
Perhaps the most romantic thing about a Pisces is that they never kiss and tell. Part of their allure is that you’ll rarely find a Pisces putting their relationship business out on front street, as they believe that your time spent together is an intimate and exclusive experience.
