At this time last year, Zayn Malik's life was entirely different. In February 2015, he was still part of One Direction. He was also still engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Fast forward to present day, it's a whole different ballgame. Malik recently embarked on his solo career and he has a new love interest in his life. When his video for "PillowTalk" dropped on Friday, it confirmed what everyone was already suspecting: Malik is dating Gigi Hadid. Although he's been shy to comment on the matter, Malik finally confirmed the relationship news in a radio interview with "Zach Sang & The Gang."
One of the hosts asked him, "Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?" Malik responded,
Uh, yeah. That was cool. it was something different. We enjoyed it. It was fun. A lot of fun on set.
In case that wasn't clear enough, the host asked again to be 100-percent certain: "No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?" To which Malik replied in agreement, "Exactly." The hosts all laugh about it and Malik said, "I like what you're doing there."
