Caitlyn Jenner x MAC Is Coming Soon

The rumors turned out to be true. Months after rumors spread that this celebrity and MAC were working on a makeup line, the dynamic duo announced they had indeed partnered together for a limited edition lipstick called Finally Free. So, when will this much anticipated product be available? You won't have to wait too long because the Caitlyn Jenner x MAC lipstick will be released on Apr. 7 exclusively on maccosmetics.com. Looks like Kylie Jenner's Lip Kits will have some friendly competition in the beauty department.

In a statement released today, Jenner shared how she's been a fan of MAC cosmetics for a really long time:

Before I came out, the impression I had of MAC was, “That’s quality; that’s the good stuff.” Not only is it the good stuff, but MAC also has the willingness corporately to use its reach to make a difference, to change people’s minds. To help raise funds for HIV and AIDS, and in our case, for trans issues. And honestly, my ultimate fantasy — I never thought in a million years that it would ever happen — was to get involved with a makeup company. When you’re going through all of this, that’s just like never going to happen, but wouldn’t it be something to be involved in a project like that? Boy, watch out what you wish for, because it came true.

The Caitlyn Jenner for MAC lipstick is a stunning shade of rosy red that has become a signature color for the iconic Olympian and activist. While Jenner says that this is a dream come true, the most important part of this collaboration for her is how it is giving back and raising awareness for the trans community. Every cent from the sale of the Finally Free lipstick will go towards the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.

And as for picking out the lipstick name? "I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community," Jenner said. "This is who I am: Finally Free."
